Viraatapalem Web Series Plot

During the 90s, numerous young brides died in mysterious circumstances in a village named Viraatapalem. The people begin to suspect that the village is under a curse. As a result of this, marriages are prohibited within the village, and the youths must travel out to get married. One fine day, a responsible and valorous cop by the name of Meenakshi is posted to the village. She becomes intrigued with the mystery. But it gets serious when a bride dies right in front of her, in the same unusual manner.

Now Meenakshi begins to question: Is it a curse, or is someone doing it intentionally? Although the villagers aren't on her side, and she has plenty of suspects, she decides to make a big gamble. She says yes to getting married in the village in order to learn what is happening. Will she be the next victim, or will she discover the truth? Is it truly a curse of god or a fabrication of someone?
