Kunku Zala Vairi

Kunku Zale Vairi is a 2005 Marathi drama starring Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Nagesh Bhonsle, Raja Ambole. Kamal, a poor woman, marries Arjun. She grows vegetables on his farmland that was lying unutilised and sells the produce. With the money, she digs a well. Local politician Tatya supports Kamal for Chairperson of the local council. She gets elected. But Tatya and her husband have their own evil agendas. Kamal faces abuse, sexual harassment and threat to her life and to the lives of her villagers.
